Not a single person I spoke with had anything good to say. I remember Venezuela 3 years ago and it has only sloped even further into corruption. Everyone will tell you.

Obama supported Mexico's version of Plan Colombia (the "Merida initiative") which has further militarized the hemisphere by expanding the failed drug war into that country. Murder, kidnappings, corruption and gang wars are now part of ordinary life in Mexico. I am skeptical about this Obama. The ruling class would not have chosen him if they didn't think he was good for empire.
