As soon as I bought a Clavinova I decided to rec Tatakau Monotachi again. The sound is cleaner except for the brilliance I set too high. The last page of the score is still missing, I don't have time to study it right now. Compared to the first one, this video is a little better but it's still much the work I have to do.
The instrument is a YAMAHA Clavinova CLP-230 (Graded Hammer 3), I'm sorry for the bad settings I forgot to change.
Original version by Uematsu Nobuo (植松 伸夫)
Piano arrangement by Hamaguchi Shiro(浜口 史郎)
Original performance by Honda Seiji

  • nice ending hahaha XD good work!

  • Thank you! Did I stop earlier cause I didn't know the last part of the score or cause I managed to win the battle in less than 3 minutes?

    Who knows...

  • lol oh yea i forgot that when you win a battle, that little part comes out hahaha. you're amazing. hopefully about 5 years from now lol, i could play this. wat happened to the last page??? o_O

  • It just didn't want to be learnt...

  • but its like the most badass part of the song. well the accelerando at the end haha. why didnt you want to learn it?

  • It wasn't me... it's the score that didn't want to be learnt! Jokes apart, you can't imagine the difficulties I encountered practising, and at the last page I gave up. I'll probably complete it when less busy.

  • btw. can i have sheet music..? cant seem to find any Dx

  • Tatakau Monotachi is nearly impossible to play without many mistakes... I'm working out a lot of kinks. I suggest that you work on the trill after 2:30 and play the rapid 16th notes at 0:37, etc. sustenato. Fantastic performance, up to the part where you stop, of course.

  • lol love the victory ending. absolutely incredible! even with the not-so-awesome camera audio it still sounded amazing

  • Hi, great playing! I'll try to practise this song after i finished my own version of suteki da ne... Though i think it will hard, especially on this speed. keep up the good work! =D

  • Hey!

Very well done on a fantastic rendition of this legendary tune! Wish i can play half as well lol!
