The Book of Mormon claims to be "a volume of holy scripture comparable to the Bible." Both the Bible and the Book of Mormon declare themselves to be ancient, historical, and reliable rules of faith--the very word of God.
These claims have historically been taken on faith. But is there any evidence to support them one way or the other? Is it even possible to "test" a rule of faith? More to the point, is there any basis for placing one's faith in the Bible or the Book of Mormon?
It's an important question. It's an eternal question. This presentation puts the Bible and the Book of Mormon to the same tests. History, archaeology, textual criticism, and other disciplines combine to shed light on what is true...and what is false.
Truth never fears investigation. Faith need not--and should not--be blind. Discover for yourself which of these books is worthy of being called "scripture" and which is worth of your trust.

@TheSoulamore the Bible is not the word of God and its not Christian to obey the Bible.
The bible void of the spirit is just a book on your shelf. Just like Faith without Works is Dead... so is the bible without the Spirit.
It is pagan to follow any graven image, that includes the Bible. What you are doing whether you like it or not is replacing Aarons Golden Calf with a leather bound book on the alter and submitting to it. This is exactly what God does not what you to do.

You could never get a Morman to watch even 5 minutes of this because if they did they would know the truth. My wife won't even watch this (she's an Ex Morman) because her parents are still Mormans and she doesn't want to believe what they worship is wrong. I avoid religious conversation with them because it would only lead to an argument. It's bad enough they treat me like crap (21 years now) because I'm not a Morman like them and I'm keeping their daughter from being with them on their planet !

twocentsin7, Yes :) This girl said that, the Bible is not the word of God and its not Christian to obey the Bible. Hmmm. Its hard to hear comments against the Bible and God for the sake of religion. SAD!

@TheSoulamore Salvation and glory and power , belong to our God, for true and righteous are his judgements ; for he has judged the great Harlot. (missed a line of the scripture). From the Word of God, which Is for sure, the only word of God: The bible.
