We are a group of citizens property owners fighting for our rights against eminent domain actions launched by Texas-based Spectra Energy Corporation, a natural gas storage company, and backed by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).
Eminent domain is a taking of property or property rights under the badge of government. Traditionally, the taking is supposed to be for the public good, based on just compensation for property owners. Think of airports, interstate highways and such.
Eminent domain is a growing issue in many communities because the traditional interpretation appears to be changing.
Today, there are too many examples where eminent domain means someone wants your property and the government helps them take it.

My property will only be taken if they kill me: otherwise the government is shit out of luck! This is MY PROPERTY and it will NOT be taken from me while i am breathing.

It is understandable that energy infrastructure is likley to piss someone off, you can't make everyone happy all the time, BUT what you are calling abuse of eminent domain is not exactly correct. Just becuase a company is a jackass isn't related to why they have eminent domain.
It looked like everyone in the video used electricity, plastic, propane, paint, waterproof coates, and many, many, many of the products derived from natural gas components. Thus benefitting at a public level from gas.
