Animatronics is mainly used in movie making, but also in theme parks and other forms of entertainment. Its main advantage over CGI and stop motion is that the simulated creature has a physical presence moving in front of the camera in real time. The technology behind animatronics has become more advanced and sophisticated over the years, making the puppets even more realistic and lifelike.

Very few people who have such high IQ's would ever boastfully try and use it to win an argument. As it is well known amongst scientists; the more you know, the more you know you don't know. Especially for a man who is claiming to have a higher IQ than that predicted for Stephen Hawking. Oh I could Vidyadude. But i do have a trained eye where as most people do not,so you are right with most people. It's not just animatronics vs CGI looking more real it's also real sunlight vs studio and physical reality. But of course it's the skill level and experience in any field. I've seen enough shit miniatures and props as well. I had a green screen studio in a converted factory and I had a large portable one as well. The outside one looked much better when combined

with background.

LOL; if someone told you these animatronics were CGI you would not have seen the differences. In terms of looking realistic CGI can top this and have fluid animation.
