your very talented, but i think that when you put the orange on the bird it ruined the effect:/ it was already beautiful and vivid but the orange for me spoiled it:/ just my opinion but i like it anyway

How would you draw white feathers in paint? If you can't answer, don't worry. I won't blame you - but if you can, please tell me! It would be ever-so-helpful!

Hmm you mean like a whie bird? Well if you're going for realistic you'l see that no animal in the world, feathered or not, is completely white. They are always a very pale shade of another colour or just pale grey. Another way to draw white feathers is to use shadows. It's kind of hard to explain without demonstrating - I'll tell you what, next speedpaint I make will be a bird of prey with white feathers if I can remember it ^^

I got 2 questions. One is frequently asked, but anyway. Where did you learn to draw like that? You're only 17, so I think that you start when you were young. And why did start to draw your phoenix in grey? It won't be simple to start in orange-yellow, no?

I didn't learn to draw anywhere specific - I mean I took art classes, but they were about as usefull as nothing XD All of my art was self-taught.
As for the gray part, I love to experiment with new techniques and I saw a speedpaint done in black and white like this one and wanted to try it out to see if it made a better effect ^^
