To be honest none of us are really in any position to judge. CMWYS was about Shaun, and some people might think it was really cruel of her to write and release that song, but that's just what Amy does, same as any songwriter - they have something on their mind, or something happens to hurt them so they write about it. It's exactly what Shaun has done here.

Maybe she was a bitch, maybe he was an ass, maybe they were both in the wrong. We'll never know, because it was THEIR relationship, not ours.

@hulktrolle maybe she just got sick of him coming home drunk all the time. But it doesn't matter, it's not our relationship, we weren't in it, we can't really judge because he was an alcoholic and abusive, but maybe she was a bitch to leave him. It's never that straight-cut. Nobody but them know exactly what went on in the rooms of their house(s) and the conversations and arguments they had. They're personal lives should remain personal, not really any of our business.

@FireflyFanatic3 Amy left Shaun because he had a drinking problem... it was BAD. but he went to rehab just for her. but then she got married to a therapist by the time Shaun's rehab was over... he gace everything for her, but she believed he would never change.

@39Kookeez no Amy Lee has never said (to my knowledge) "Call Me When You're Sober is about Shaun Morgan" but it was pretty obvious and she's never denied it. She just says "it's pretty obvious who it's about". If it WASN'T about Shaun, then surely she'd say something to stop everyone thinking that it was, to protect both him and herself.

great song and i know it wasnt said to be "about amy lee" and it was "about someone else" because amy was "so much better" but come on shaun thats the rehab talkin, man up homie :P jk. amy lee didnt say sober was about shaun did she? i thought she said it was about the former evanescence guitarist or something...ive honestly had enough of this middle school bullshit. i dont like amy for her music mainly, the very idea of her hating on shaun at that time just cuts all ties for me.
