@roryunderfire I agree that Mr. Jackman did a "spirited" version of my friend Peter..although somewhat burlesque.
But, you are correct, Peter was a piano man. I was there for the VIP opening of the BFO. That was the mistake in Legs..he never sat at the piano till the end. I was at the opening and closing performances of Legs.

this is one of my fav songs from this show and hugh is just an amazing actor singer and dancer there's just nothing much he can't do he's my idol and the perfect role model for me!!!

Hugh seemed to be channeling Peter in his speech and singing patterns.
Just nice to see peter's music being sung again after all these years.
As long as the music is played and sung it is never forgotten.
Nice to see it being discovered by a new audience.
