Majestic Oak, carved with age
And lovers' trysts;
Partake with me of wisdom...
Yearn for truths beyond your roots;
Teach me the wisdom of the Sages;
Learn of technology you will never use
As I ache for times I'll never see.

Precious child, virgin of life
And lovers' trysts,
Partake with me of wisdom...
Learn of places yet to see;
Teach me once more of innocence;
Yearn for lovers still to come
As I ache for life I'll never see.

Majestic Oak, veteran of life
And lovers' trysts,
Partake with me in wisdom...
Share your fear of treacherous axes
Tearing kin from Nature's womb;
Hope with me for better times
When nurture shall return.

Ageing child, veteran of life
And lovers' trysts,
Partake with me in wisdom...
Share your ache from treacherous axes,
Scarred tissue left of Mother's womb;
Fight with me for better times
When nurture shall return.

Whatever your personal beliefs, it is a fact that we are not only killing our planet but also ourselves in the process. Even if you are deeply entranched in your ways, for the sake of future generations, please think about your actions and how deeply they can affect others.

Particularly despicable is the UK Gov't's proposed "selling off" of UK woodlands. Boycott any company who buys...
