How does extreme snow and mud affect the electronic components? I have always wanted a Truck but I live in NYC and for me that means empty pockets at the pump, until now. I'm totally sold on the GM Sierra hybrid but my buddies are convinced that in extreme snow or mud the electronic system when met with moisture and dirt will make for headache. Also hypothesized is that in the long run the battery and electric components will be financially burdensome. Pleas shed some light on these concerns.

"...electric motor with a belt drive with a lithium ion battery.. those will be going in a whole lot of places"
The public finaly gets what it wants but it took a bankruptsy and tax payer bailout to get there. : )

Great idea. That's why Toyota didn't think of it. In the reel world everybody can't fit into a shoe box. Show me another hybrid that can tow 6,000 lbs and get 20 mpg.
