This is great entertainment! Dokes was lightening fast for a heavyweight and his skills way above average. Only Joe Louis, Muhammad Ali (in the 1960's) and Mike Tyson were probably as fast throwing punches as Dokes.

This was probably the first fight i ever watched at the time, Dokes was a brilliant boxer before he had his problems, credit to big John for going to US , he had a real go and was a very decent pro himself. Hope his having a good life
