Vytorin is nothing but Simvastatin and ezetimibe.

I could'nt agree less. I have had high cholesterol 10+ years- was well over 300, low LDL and high HDL. I tried 4 different statins - not one significantly improved my cholesterol level. I have been taking vytorin for 6 years. It has brought my overall level to well below 200 made LDL and HDL at an acceptable level; unlike the statins which caused muscle pain, no side effects from the Vytorin. Is this an attempt by the statin drug makers to get Vytorin off the market?
