From Nov 17th to Sunday 19th 2006, the Armagh Pipers Club celebrated their 40th birthday with a serie of wonderful concerts and workshops at the 13th Armagh Piping Festival.
On Sat 18th, Frank Torpey (Bodhran), Brendan Ring and Gerry McKee played at the afternoon concert. This is an authorized video of a tune by Brendan Ring (low whistle) and Bodhran.

  • The first tune (00:00 to 01:44) is called "Maverick Angels"

  • Awesome! What else to say?

  • Brendan Ring is the GOD of low whistle! "Troublesome things" is a must!

    Brendan, Frank and Gerry are really nice people too. The Crazy trio, as we called them in Copenhagen nov. 2005.

  • The first tune is called "Maverick Angels" and is by Brendan Ring. I don't know about the second tune.

  • thats a big sound from the little drum!

  • proper recording is on the "troublesome things" CD from Brendan Ring. Second tune of track four !
