He doesn't make 100 in a row of those, that is his 6 foot drill, he only tries to make 10 in a row, he has to make 100 in a row on the 3 foot drill, which is the same circle only from 3 feet instead of 6
Both are really good drills and will help your putting tremendously if you do them consistently
one of the reasons for that ball position is to create top-spin off the face. putting is 100% personal though. use what works for you and practice, practice, practice

he usually has to make 100 in a row before he lets himself finish. this was obviously just before a tournament though
