**Wait and Watch in HIGH QUALITY!!**
This is kinda wordy so if you only have time for 2 phrases to sum this game up make them 'Batumshakalaka' and 'Block-fest'.
If you have time for more, read on.
With New Jersey just outside the 8th spot out east and the Blazers needing every game they should win, both teams fought hard for this one.
Both teams shot hot for most of the game but a dry spell for the Blazers kept us down for most of the game, in fact, since our first shot, we didn't lead again till about 5:30 left in the 4th.
Aldridge, Pryzbilla, and Batum are quickly establishing themselves as defensive magicians.
There were 10 blocks in this game but it seemed like more.
Despite not scoring a field goal in the 1st half, Roy
finished with 31. Aldridge was active on D and had
19pts and 10 boards himself but it was the effort of
the 20 year old rookie from France who put his mark on this game from start to finish. Even With a sore shoulder he had a season high in points (20) and minutes (32) and a couple blocks that no one else in the league consistently pulls off like he does.*
Happy Friday the 13th New Jersey. We chased you down and chopped you up Jason style! 8 D
*Batum sidenote:
It was reported during the game that Michael Jordan was in town recently (Nike business) and had a conversation with our team president (who used to run the Jordan brand).
What did he have to say you ask?
Firstly, he said Nicolas Batum is like Scottie Pippen.
Secondly, he said he was glad to see we didn't make any trades because he likes our team and believes we have the people and pieces to win championships.
And he knows a lot about both. Word.

Thanks to Blazer Broadcasting, CSN, and the NBA for the broadcast.
The music is Watch Ya Back, Sneakin Up On Ya, and Breakdown by The Fu-Schnickens.
[Warning:Mild swearing throughout with an MF tossed in for good measure. (sorry kids but music doesn't match up and tell the story of the game like this everyday. ;) )]
Batum is for real. He is a great piece for a future champonship team.
Good work DMKPDX

I hope Pryz keeps the starting job when Greg comes back. I love Greg but he's clearly not ready to start day in and day out. Pryz is a great veteran who makes few mistakes. Give him the majority of the minutes and we can make a run.
