Joe & Eddie/That's The Way It's Gonna Be

I ran across my old vinyl's last week and remembered how much I loved J&E. I had never seen them perform on anything. I just loved their voices. I checked out YT and was so excited to find them here. So sorry to learn about Joe. They were awesome!

I saw them perform live in Orange County, California during the early 1960s. They were world class performers. They filled the room with just two voices. What a tragedy to break them up with a tragic accident.

Joe Gilbert was tragically killed in an automobile accident @ the young age of 27. I am his neice (my mother was his sister) My mother has all of his albums They were 10 years apart.....

A very dear sweet friend turned me on to Joe & Eddie. He sent me this song which is great,,,,,,,,,,but the 1st song that he played for me that was by these guys is called"Mariah". That holds a special place in my heart for a lot of reasons and I am dissappointed that I cannot find it on utube.

many times when i roll up to my 12 step meeting I'm singin' "meetin' here tonight" to myself because not many know this song!
