Coldplay Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall is very similar to Ritmo De La Noche by Mystic (also covered by The Sacados) and at the same time very similar to I Go To Rio by Peter Allen. Enjoy the original one in this mix! btw: love Coldplay but, is it necessary to use this famous rhythm? Isn't it better to celebrate the original one like JLo did with the Lambada? Or is it everything done on purpose to boost buzz about it? What do you think?

  • @klpfj08 they explained that it was a complete coincidence and personally, i believe them. they are very very talented musicians and an unbelievable amount of hard work went into that song (just like every other song but Viva La Vida is special) so i don't think they stole it, Joe Satriani was probably just looking for a little publicity. not hating, just saying.

  • @cajica12345 we everybody know that

  • Guess what, modern artists copy a lot of songs or melodys from other artists nowadays, but not everyone gives credit for it. Coldplay has done some songs based on others, and gave credit for it to the artists who wrote the songs, and they made masterpieces out of it. What I really can't stand is that Coldplay is accused of plagiarism for songs from which they admit that they built their melodys on and actually gave all the credit to their original writers.

  • @marycmusic96 were they inspired by Joe Satriani as well when they stole his song for Viva La Vida too?

  • well, if you all did your back-round work; Coldplay were inspired to write this song after they had heard the song ''I Go To Rio''. They used the intro which is why Peter Allen and Adrienne Anderson (the writers of the song) are credited in the writing of this song.

  • don't bitch....all black eyed peas songs are stolen in some way or another

  • its also she doesnt mind from sean paul listen it not from the beginning but listen in more

  • Conclusion: Colplay = Coverband
