Thank you so much. Too often we fail to embrace our own culture. I'm very proud to be able to sing about Harlan, and I've met many wonderful Harlan County people who identify with the sacrifice coal miners have made like this songs portrays. We owe them a great debt.

I was born and brought up in Harlan County and very proud of it! You did a magnificent job with this song. Darrell Scott would be proud. You put a lot of feeling into it. This song means a lot to Harlan Countians..you represented us well...THANKS!
