  • It's to bad "TheGreaepit" is missing the point! This is about standing up for your rights. If you are happy with a country that allows U.S. companies to destroy good paying jobs good for you, I’m not! And just so you know, the work from Amcan was sent to Mexico, They tried to run the work for a year. They could not and the Company that was Amcan ended up losing the contract to another US (unionized) company that is now doing the work.

  • Canadians bitching about the U.S., the U.S. bitching about steel coming in from India for pipelines. Sure makes you feel good about your unions support doesn't it. Says you came out victorious...meaning what....you're good for a few more months. The economy has forced companies to search for the best deal. China, Japan, and India do not house unions, allowing cheaper labour, which in turn, provides a better deal for consumers. Sad now that you all may have to work non-union jobs isn't it.
