  • VLS :)

  • Indeed, probably the greatest person to ever go to the University of York (I'm there now haha).

Top Comments

  • "He leaves two gloves, one large, one small" LOL. Excellent!

The irony is, of course, that Beadle himself would probably approve of this!

  • Fact is that Beadle was a great guy. TV Offal was a funny series but sometimes Lewis-Smith went too far. Rest in peace, Beadle. Those who knew you knew the real man, not the TV image.

  • he died 2008 not 1998 you dumb cunts

  • The small finger buffett at his funeral was very nice.

  • Victor Lewis Smith, whatever happened to him?

I remember reading his column in my dad's Daily Mirror, he was very scathing. Which is nice!

  • Beadle was actually a top man.

  • Beadle could dish it out though.

Knocking a mans livelyhood into a lake. Burley men intimidating young women.

Plus all those people "who can't be with us on the show tonight" but who they got to sign the release forms while in a state of shock.

'Nice in real life'. Having a television camera on you does not absolve you of responsibility.

  • I met him. He was OK. I shook his hand and all.

  • LOL he leaves 2 gloves, 1 large, 1 small LOL

    LMFAO

  • Shame - Let's have a big hand for Jeramy Beadle

  • @YoureshiteTelevision

    i hadnt noticed that!

  • That's fair enough. You can take or leave his style and, let's face it, a lot of Beadle's TV work was of its time and now dated and annoying but you're right - Beadle, the man, was a lovely guy. Hugely intelligent and witty and privately donated over £10 MILLION to charity which was only announced after he died. I was at his last ever public function and none of us knew he was ill.
