Stan Myers of SEMI speaks at SVEC Open House in Nov 2007

Mr. Myers gives welcome to audience of the Silicon Valley Engineering Council (SVEC) Open House in November 2007.

Stanley Myers of SEMI welcomes attendees and gives commentary on what Silicon Valley and semiconducter industry was and what it is now, and future of engineering workforce. Whether you agree or disagree, Mr. Myers says what he feels.

SEMI hosted the annual SVEC Open House which invites officers from various engineering and technical societies in Silicon Valley to attend this event. This Open House introduces programs of SVEC such as Keeper Of The Flame, Discover "E" outreach program, and Engineers Week Banquet. Also at this event, SVEC announces latest inductees of the Silicon Valley Engineering Hall of Fame which later in evening Stan Myers was revealed as one of the latest inductees.

Mr. Myers was formally inducted into the Silicon Valley Engineering Hall of Fame in Feb 2008 along with Ernest Kuh of UC Berkeley and Jerry Sanders of AMD.

Stanley Myers will again host this year's SVEC Open House at SEMI in San Jose on November 17 (Monday), 2008.
