The reference to Mexico was merely used as an example of how extreme the situation is, not as some sort of sympathy play. And what does starting one's own company have to do with the the comments that I made? Besides, even if a person starts his own business, he still needs large numbers of people who have jobs to be his customers and make that business a success.

Um, OK . . . I hear the message . . . yet I don't hear any solutions . . . The "jobs" have been leaving this country since Clinton and the 1997 congress gave "most favored" trading partner status to China. Took a couple of years to get the factories (in China) built, and then the jobs started leaving in mass (about the time Bush Jr. got into office). Neither Bush, nor Obama, nor any congress has tried to reverse the 1997 deal. Even Mexico is losing jobs to China because of what was done in 1997.
