@captcrais101 Some of the biggest proponents on instant run off voting was from Green Party members and Libertarians here in my state of Minnesota. So they DO understand it and demand it more than the average citizen. It's just that the legislators are most likely not going to let that happen, since it's not in their best interest, otherwise they'll get thrown out of office, and get in the unemployment lines like 10% of the country.
@ggadguy I hate it when third party supporters don't realize America needs instant run off voting in every state for a third party. Third party supporters really need to understand people, by the masses, to support one single third party is very hard. Especially when you have 10 third parties running nfor president and the only way a candiate wins is with the electoral college or state points not popular vote.
I hate it how Thom assumes that two candidates are in every race. He is wrong on this one. In larger elections you generally have about 7 or 8 options. In gubernatorial races you might have 3-5 depending on your state, and in local elections it varies. I understand the two parties dominate politics, but we should have more choices and not limit ourselves to two parties... or one party as I like to say, the big government party.
America's only real enemies are Republicans.
