@swgdude...dude, I am so sorry. Every dog is special but anyone who has owned a Gordon knows have very warm and loving and playful they are their ENTIRE life...I've lost two myself over the last two years so I have an inkling of what you must be going through.
All I can say is time does heel but I do think of them every day..your pup has moved on and to a better world..loving love life and playing with others but misses you and is anxiously waiting for you when you cross the RAINBOW BRIDGE...

Also had a Gordon. Machine on quail and pheasant but sweet around the house. I miss him every day

They have a 5-7 year old mindset...even at adults. That's why they may seem to act a child and why they are so playful. But I LOVE them...

I've had four GS's and they act like their two their entire life...I highly recommend a Springset Gordon Setter...they are field bred, smaller and more sleek than the show Gordon's and GREAT FAMILY dogs.

These pitbulls are cool. I have owned several of them and it never ceases to amaze me how much they look and act like a gordon setter.

I've been wanting a Pit, but I love how playful yet peaceful and graceful these dogs are. You can see those tracking instincts. Id much rather have one of these dogs if i owned a lot of land for them to hunt on.
