@dyingangelo I'm not hating. At all... I guess I shouldn't have said anything since text can often be misinterpreted over the internet.
Is it that wierd to be annoyed that he kept referring to his fanbase as "kids" when many of us aren't? I dunno, not a big deal, just kinda off-putting while watching this. And the new albums really aren't good in comparison to some of the earlier ones. But even Lemons was still pretty good. I guess it's they aren't "bad" necessarily, they are just different.

@dinkhead1 Naaaahh. That's not what I was getting at all. I'm saying that more than kids listen to his stuff. I think it just annoyed me that he kept referring to his fanbase as kids. He's been around since the late 90's when most of these "kids" were like 5 years old.
But Atmosphere's music has softened up a lot in the last 3 years and I don't think the older audience is digging it as much. It's cool though, he's a jolly dad type now ;) Can't rap about banging strippers in a car forever.

Why does Slug always talk about kids being his fanbase in interviews? Everyone that I know that listens to him have been for years and are adults. I'm just saying, maybe he's too humble to think that maybe us silly growns like that hippity hop music.... Silly kids with thier fancy ipod computers.. and rollerskates, zipping around...
