Naaaah! He doesn't play them perfectly. Neither did Gershwin. Or Oscar Levant. Or Leonard Bernstein. Or me!

nice sound regardless...it doesnt matter........i like how he played them ......his style is good!

he was really 17 then?
0.o very nice playing anyway. I had to listen to this carefully to hear out the few slips. I've played those preludes when I was 15 or 16, and my performances were nothin compared to your son. They're really hard to play; very tricky in the technical way, and it takes loads of skill to play them with feeling.
I might be talking wild, it is a great work though.

not even dynamic change in prelude no 1

yea a bit heavy handed and rushing the runs a bit on the first one. I'd suggest more rubato on the melody of the second one and I didn't get to hear the third one because Iof this stupid computer... :P Good performance all round though.

nice but your hands are a little heavy on the piano. i don't mean your playing loud (i'm talking about the first one) you had lots of slips. i know it's not easy to play. but you can do better i'm sure. it was great though. thanks for posting and i hope that my constructive criticism didn't bother you. it's just my opinion.
