neat.
my 2003 cvpi isn't the fastest car on the planet, but it's an extremely powerful car that handles well for its class. i got mine for $2900 three years ago, and all i had to do was buy new tires and do some brake work. they are an excellent value.
drive one sometime if you haven't. they aren't your grandpa's grand marquis.

I own a un modified p71 series crown vic 2000 model. I have the whats sometimes referred to as the hot button. I notice, that you are running the car in OD on mode. Your acceleration should be, much, much, much faster. Trust me, I know. Turn the OD off. Bring her to 30 mph, then punch it. If you do not hit 80 in 1 to 2 seconds, then either something is wrong, or they detuned your car. Or worse, you don't have a Police interceptor. I could do 0 to 80 in 3-4 seconds when I first got mine.

@MrSaturdayNightSpecL That is just turning on/off overdrive.
Its just keeping it in 3rd instead of shifting to 4th in the normal shift points and holding the gears out longer.

That is pretty good, but my 95 caprice police car will eat it's lunch stock from the factory (except for the borla racing exhaust)...

The 9C1 comes with a 350, right?
the P71 only comes with a 289, thats a pretty big difference.
