i had a bigfoot 4.3GB TX that just died out of the blue in a HP pavilion 233 mhz.. it just up and didnt want to load the OS anymore. we ran the recovery disks, but it happened again. finally i just formatted the drive, took a LONG time.. then ran the recovery, then in the middle. KLUNK LUNK KLUNK KLUNK KLUNK. Wirrrr... that was it. i got it working again ,but then it just died completely. HP replaced it with a 20GB DTLA-305020. 20GB 40GV Deskstar. that lasted a month and then died to krr krr krr
