@ALDERMANOFFOUNTALL He did know me after a little prompting, will get back there one of these days, maybe I will have more luck finding some old friends. Where do you live ? if you passed through Box on your way home.
-
@ALDERMANOFFOUNTALL I grew up in Box and the surounding region, I left there at 17 for Australia I now live in Sydney but I have been back home a few times, went back to Box on one trip checked out my old house hehehe looked for but did not find any guys I knew back then ( except the vicar ) long since retired hehe.

@stephan9894 you were neighbours with Midge Ure and Peter Gabrielle!!! (looked it up!)
I'm a brummie!

@sharkster1969 It would have been good to go to school there, however the school I went to was in the opposite direction, a town called Corsham. I lived in the village of Box. Where do you live.
-
@stephan9894 Woah I made that comment 3 years ago, but thanks anyway! yes I have been there too great place, You must have gone to school there then? lucky guy, moved away?
-
@sharkster1969 A lot of the city is actually Georgian. The famous Cresent area a very wealthy area of Bath. I have fond memories of swimming in the royal baths as a young boy growing up there the water was always greenish and hot due more to the minerals, you had a time limit in the baths then for a couple of reasons because it was very small so they needed to have people in and out in sessions but also it was a natural hot spring and beneficial .

@madbob73 It used to be Bath Somerset when I was a boy I lived near there. Then it changed to the county of Avon, along with the river Avon. I believe that it is now back to Somerset, however I live in Sydney Australia now.
I was in Bath last year, I'm from Norway so I guess there ain't many norwegian who have visited bath, gotta love Bath.

Nice photos dude. Edwardian? thought it was the roman city of bath - edwardian was 1880-1918 I think bath has a lot more history than that - still maybe I am wrong. As i said nice photos and Bath is fantastic!!!

Hi Sharkster, You are correct, Bath is in fact a ROMAN city, I have corrected my mistake. Thankyou for your comments.
