U.S. Senator George V. Voinovich (R-OH) was in Brussels, Belgium, as a co-chair of the American Congressional Delegation to the Brussels Forum. The Forum is an annual high-level meeting of the most influential North American and European political, corporate and intellectual leaders to address pressing challenges currently facing both sides of the Atlantic. The Brussels Forum, in its fifth year, is hosted by the German Marshall Fund (GMF) of the United States. This was the senators fourth Brussels Forum.

At the Brussels Forum, David Ignatius of the Washington Post honored the senator for his work on foreign affairs, stating that Sen. Voinovich is one of the people that makes our Congress work. There is a lot of dysfunction you read about all the time. George he is one of those people who thinks, listens and figures out a way to get things done.
