Have you seen Steve Rothery and Diz Minnitt playing at a Bucks Festival in September as The Granmarstonberries? Comfortably Numb is excellent.

still great tho' for those who remained loyal to the unit that is the band.

Steve is a great singer, but as with any singer who replaces the original...the problem arises where the songs are sung...albeit vocally great...however, cannot...have the true feeling Fish had, because Steve's life experiences are not Fish's.

Asking me which one of the two versions of Marillion I like more, it's like asking a father which one of his two sons he loves or likes more.Marillion has been a band with five musicians and by you being so blunt in favoring FISH you disrespect the other members of the band that created the first four albums of the band along with the big guy and underrate the wonderful great musician and artist that is H.I love them all the same.Get real people and have some decency and courtesy for MARILLION

fish and steve both great in there own way ,,,but i must say when hooks in you came out with steves powerful vocals i was more hooked than with fish...just my view

ah why not, it would be historical? it never happens this way. u could have like 2 different camps(promote sales) goin at it 2 see who is better or u could have a marillion w/ fish album thing,like queen and p. rodgers did. just a thought. chemistry is chemistry.

Fish had 4 albums and like 7 years or so in Marillion. Hogarth has 20+ years and 11 albums. If Fish had not left Marillion back then my guess is none of them would have been recording and touring anymore. He had huge problems, and the break was needed for both parties. Steve Hogarth is a great singer, a great entertainer, as is Fish. but the world is not the same, the guys are not the same. Get real folks, it will never happen.
