that was pretty cool video. congrats on your first kill with a bow.

Great Vids and the kill was great. Comments of those that hunt, you take the shot and if you pinpoint the shot and know that it will be a kill take it...
Thanks for sharing and that is what hunting and team work are all about...... Cobra

if you shoot an animal through the hole in the brisket that the esophagus travels it is RIGHT in the business district. i hunt whitetails and they're a little too jumpy for this as an initial shot. but God forbid you have to make a follow up shot, try this! they drop dead immediately.
where was this hunt

JBK...I don't need a poster to tell me that the heart is the smallest vital, protected by a briskette, 2 shoulder blades and a ribcage. If you hold your poster at the right angle, you can probably see his heart through the top of his head. Probably not a good shot either. The video was good, the calling was really good. Just a poor shot choice. I don't think you can convince any true hunter different.

I understand where your coming from....by no means do I think this is a shot a person should take in just any situation. Nor a inexperienced hunter should take. Everything would have to be right and in this case it was. Also would not be a shot I would take further than 20 yards away. I respect your opinion and really do enjoy feed back. I have seen the shot go bad and have many times seen it go perfect. But do keep in mind of how many broadside shots have gone bad also! Thank you!
