  • Actually MorganJServices, you are wrong. The reason the deer respond to this call is because it is a distress call. The sound is very familiar to the sound a fawn makes when it is in danger. Hense, the doe's come to the rescue...

  • ohhh ok cause iv been coyote hunting and had a buck walk right up to me

  • jgmtiger:

The deer were coming to rescue the rabbit & not coming for a meal of a kill in process. At times, they are willing to come to the defense of a lessor creature even though they ( deer) have a 'flight' instinct. Like other flight creatures, they even leave their young that they feel are hopelessly caught in a predator's grasp so that the adult will survive to procreate again. Sometimes they surprise us by going completely against their internal alarms to rescue another creature.

  • why is it deer that eat grass and corn come to a wounded animal call i mean iv had it happen but why?

  • Amazing footage.

When they caught the human scent, that was the end of the game!

I thought of all the wasted money at Gander Mountain on high tech gadgets by all the sporting game hunters. Jerry probably crafted his wooden call by himself!
