Kevin Fogarty was my intermediate school music teacher, he was a bit of a slacker but he certainly knew his stuff, and he liked to boast about his days in the band. Never forgave him for replacing me in a school production however, I was the best viking out there, damn it!

Kevin Fogarty (the short lead singer) was my landlord of a flat out at Tomahawk in Dunedin, that was in the mid to late eigthies and then got him to play when I got married at Lanarch Castle in good old Dunners and he did us a version of "Culture" at the end of the night. Top bloke, I understand he is based in Auckland these days.
If you read this, Hi Kevin, remember 304 Tomahawk?

I watched this because I thought of 'unfavorable' prime ministers and I decided I like this very much!

I was 10 when this came out and I loved it. I loved the balls of a band taking the piss out of the tyrant that was Muldoon. I distinctly remember them giving him a copy on the steps of parliament and him saying he'd "give it a spin" on the stereo. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall when he played it! Great song from a period of awakening in the New Zealand media and culture, and is (criminally) almost forgotten today.
