I brought my Big Hit from Malaga Cycles in Perth Western Australia , and I have been impressed , its heavy ,but its a freeride so its desinged to be tough.
The suspension has been awsome it just flows over the rocks. I can recommend this bike.

  • i saw a big hit that looked just like this one for sale on ebay lol anyway i would try pb blaster and then i would oil the chain

  • Nice bike, bro. Just picked myself up the 2010 model. =D Oh, and Perth represent!

  • @csinclair366 could u do a review of this bike thanks

  • ugly bike

  • take the chain off your bike and you can buy a type on chain lube put a drop of that on each link, then again on your caset, leave the lube to try dont whip it of, wait a little bet then spray it with WD-40 that should work

  • @SuperBigboy1985 you think thats a bargain mate, i got a big hit 05 with rock shox boxxers, halo combat rims running maxxis high rollers, saint cranks and bottom bracket with pedals and all the saint mech running gear for £300!!!

  • weight?

  • I got one in my garage a big hit with Sherman slider plus forks dual crown any one wanna buy it lol

  • nice i got the exact same one but i got a custom paint job on it and its pretty much all white and dark green rims

  • Guys guys.....i know this bike looks good but i just bought rocky mountain R.M.X 07 stealth for 800 euros, used. It is a bomber. All Marzocchi suspension, 66VF 05 and roco tstr. It's amazing, hand built and welded killing machine. I think it's way better than this.

  • @xavierpavier I'm really not the one who's crying, now am i. I have a better overall bike and it cost me far less and i do not get the depreciation as much as other fools do. I had a pair of boxxer forks, do you know how much they are to make. I have had many forks from fox to rockshox to your cheap and nasty chilli forks which cost at max $30 dollars from any bike shop and to be fair, they stood up to allot more shit and far far cheaper..YOUR BEING RIPPED OFF WITH NAMES...

  • @kinkaid25 have a fucking cry

  • These bikes are really not worth the money, you could build a Santa Cruz with better parts and still have enough for a holiday. For $4000 dollars, this bike has not even got Fox Forks, just Rock Shox. I do like the bike, but i would never spend $4000, the worst problem is the de-valuation of these bikes. I bet my Santa Cruz has better parts and, I only paid half what you paid for this.

  • i have this bike and i freakin love it

  • your always going to have rust build up on the rear casset and chain... its because of your location and where you bike. The best thing you can do is when you wash off your bike, dry off the chain as best you can and keep the chain and casset well lubed ( i use ice wax or finish line because that gives me best results) Go down to your LBS (local bike shop) and find a suitable product that meets the conditions you ride in (eg. dusty, muddy etc)

  • i have one of this and its freakin awsome i love the specialized big hit

  • did you sell this bike?

  • use proper cycle oil it can be used on any moving part on the bike accept brakes. its good for chains b'cos water or salt w.e doesnt make it rust. it takes my chain about 3-4 washes for it to start rusting but i usualy oil it every 2 to 3 weeks anyway so doesnt realy affect it from washing :)

  • I have this bike..everything the same except the grips :D...this bike is great for jumps !!!

  • nice paint

  • Try soaking the chain in mineral spirits for a while, then get a stiff brush and scrub the chain thoroughly. Wash the chain with water after and then dry it completely. Finally, apply a good chain lubricant like ProLink. You could also invest some money in a chain cleaning kit which your LBS should have.
