@xterminatorofficial Yeah, I guess their fourth album is a bit of a mixed bag. On the one hand, there are the songs like you mentioned that are a return to form for them. On the other hand, there are songs that sound like just about every other indie band out there. I guess that's business eh - got to appeal to everyone these days.

@SuperQweertyuiop personally I prefer their first album, like you presumably, because of how they embraced that "madchester" sound that was carried by the Stone Roses. I was a little disappointed with "Empire" and "West Ryder" as I thought they had lost that almost spiritual energy that they used to have. However I feel that "Velociraptor" is a step back to the first album, with songs such as "I Hear Voices" and "Switchblade Smiles", and I love it.

@xterminatorofficial What's that band called by alex turner and his twin? lost shadow puppets or something. Anyway, Days Are Forgotten and a few other tracks from their fourth album sound incredibly similar in style. Also, they are now dressing like twats for some reason unbeknownst to me.
