A500 Stoke on Trent - Speeding Motorists

I known I am retired, but it winds me up when us motorcyclists get blamed for most things, yet speeding motorists just seem to be ignored. On the A500 in Stoke it is 50 mph, but you would never think so. I am doing 50mph all the way

Not being funny, but i live 5 mins away from this road and travel on it almost everyday. The speed limit on this road is 70mph not 50. Maybe the reason you're being over taken is because you're too fuckin slow!

the slower i go the more i dont pay attention on the road.

it bores me to go slow and my mind wanders onto other things. like the view and that cigarette.

did you know on the a50 between stoke and derby, police will let you travel at 90mph so long as the road is clear :)

But thats the society we live in now. . . . also a shame they don't have the brains to figure out that the video is just to show that its not just bikers who speed.

at the end of the day who's licence is going to get the points if they get caught yours or theirs. Theirs so why even bother filming stuff like this? and you old ones wounder why you get no respect from the younger people...... Shame you have to much time on your hands to do stuff like this when people that use the a500 have probably just finished work and wanna get home. Leave them to it is what i say....

@peteralannaylor Also a more main and valid reason for him not seeing the tractor was because of all them farming idiots in the field and what ever they were cutting or spraying was flying over the road which in itself causes a big danger to any motorcyclist if it got in there eyes or thoat, that could cause coughing fits or blind the sight of the motorcyclist until its cleared from his eyes.

when you say you're retired that's a big clue... definitely too much time on your hands! Besides most speedometers over-read, so I'm sure not many people are actually breaking the speed limit in this video...
