  • In the spiritual struggle aspect,it's no different than Christians fighting against Satan to be better Christians,to become better,more well rounded people,to be better,kinder,gentler human beings.

  • actually,the definition of jihad is not 'religious war',it's 'struggle'..there's two types of jihad,the religious war Ed speaks of,and the more common struggle against one's own worst nature to do what is right,like charity over greed.
