it seemed to me that for 30 years the only sheild story marvel ever did was nick fury vs sheild
i was bored with this after the first 5 times
the secret warriors just seemed some sort of "new mutant" team im not sold on them
also that sheild part of hydra is beyond stupid and nothing in any of of the history of sheild points to that
i met alex maleev he is good guy and pretty funny yeah i agree with about his creative credit

I doubt Marvel pays creators they take ideas from in movies. Why would they?

I think Locus and pobra are pretty dead on in my opinion. I'm sure Bendis is raking in the dough with that credit.

Incidentally, who is(are) the superhero parent(s) of each Secret Warrior?

Not that I find SW to be bad, but in my eyes it VERY uninteresting and boring. I know nothing about any of the main players involved, what their purposes are, powers, backgrounds, history's, ects, especially Fury. His hayday in the MU was long gone by the time I found myself to be comic book fan and this reverence and excitement many others have for him starring in his own book eludes me. I'd like to get into this series since its so acclaimed, but theres nothing pulling in me in.

What the flying fuck? Bendis and Maleev get a "created by"??
...Maleev gets a credit because he's Bendis's buddy thats pretty obvious. Caselli is only a italian hired gun so he don't matter to the "special one" brian bendis.
The "created by" credit is little to do with homage and a LOT to do with ROYALTIES. Kirby gets zero royalties for the HUNDREDS of characters he created for Marvel. Ditko, Everett, Heck, Colan, Roy Thomas, Marv Wolfman and more don't get credit for characters they created.
marvel just wants Bendis's name attached to this book so it will sell. It doesn't say "Avengers" anywhere on the cover so let's just slap Bendis's name on there so all the zombies will buy it. I totally agree with you on the name of this book, "Nick Fury: Agent of Nothing" would have been a wayyyyy better choice. Oh well, still a great book, one of the most exciting books marvel is putting out right now IMO.
