  • California doesn't have its act together. My mom is being held hostage by my sisters and I'm only allowed to talk to my mom if I promise not to bring up her money, and then, my phone calls to mom must be monitored by my younger sister. For those of you who are allowed to visit with your elderly mother, appreciate that freedom. My mom is not allowed to use the phone to call me. I have an email in to the ombudsman, but I am not sure they will respond.

  • It's great that California has its' act together on this. In NY, no one gives a damn. I contacted police and FBI each 3 times as well as banks, the district attorney and adult protective services. My moms been wiped out by my drug trafficking/addicted brother. Law enforcement doesn't even care about the drug dealing aspect. I'm risking my life conducting surveillance on my own. Morons!
