LifeCasting Kits and Supplies available from local art supply stores in North America (not Wal-Mart or Michaels). Visit website, www.LifeCastingArts.com for a directory. LifeCasting is lots of fun and hand casting is a really good starter project.
The "plaster" is a very hard gypsum cement (approx. 10 times as hard as Plaster of Paris).
It has a working time of approx. 15 minutes and a "strong enough to unmold" setting time of about 1 hour. It will reach its final strength in about 48 hours and it will dry enough to paint in 3 days.
