I love this song, The Tragically Hip are one of the best bands to ever exist and they don't get enough exposure. They are epic.

Its a song about Jim Ellison one of the greatest power pop songwriters of all time. Check out Material Issue you will not be disapointed. Id go with International Pop Overthrow to introduce yourself to their music then the rest just blends right in like a perfect poem Peace out and God Bless...

this song haunts me.. the first minute or so, at least. sometimes i wake up and it's just playing in my head, over and over...not into the lyrics, but the lead in...anyway, i know it's stress related, but i love the hip, and like this song, so it could be worse, right? i'm not a schizophrenic or multiple personality, so i figure "hey, it's all good"
