  • Did they get the WSO out?

  • @Judyiack My understanding is that he was rescured but I can't confrim it.

  • Interestingly, a couple weeks ago, I was taxiing when an F-4 (I assume he was on his way down to Tyndall) dropped in for some gas. His UHF transmissions sounded exactly like the audio recorded in the video. I would have thought the bad audio quality was just a fact of it being recorded back in the '60s.

  • @skipplet Interesting. Yeah, there are about 80+ QF-4s down at Tyndall....similar lot out at Holloman. Other than those two bases the only other one I know on the circuit is the Collings Foundation bird out of Stowe MA making the air show circuit. By the way, I sent the audio track to the producer of Vietnam in HD which is know running on the History Channel. Haven't seen all episodes yet so don't know where it is run but I did notice my name in the credits.

  • ITS NOT FOX IT'S DODGE!!!

  • @foxkill7 I've made and annotation to the beginning of the video. I would love to remix and respost but will lose all the comments.
