@jennarocky99 Walter Collins was murdered by Gordon Northcott's mother. Northcott was only convicted for 4 murders even though he admitted to upwards of 20 or so. Northcott was convicted for Collins' murder. I read these things in Sanford Clark's biography: THE ROAD OUT OF HELL.

I just watched this, WOW, amazing acting, the storyline got to me so bad... FUCK THE POLICE ...... :( I hope Walter and his mum are re-united somehow, somewhere, miracles happen everyday. Justice is the one thing every person should be accustomed with. I love this movie, it's changed a lot for me, just 2 hours later ... weird huh.

this movie was superb and devastating,to see a man murder innocent children's lives is traumatizing! Angelina Jolie made a fantastic job playing Christie Collins simply amazing.
