A struggling architect (Martin Donovan), being sued for divorce by his wife (Joanna Going) and struggling with booze and gambling, finds work remodeling a friend's (Richard Schiff) strip club, the Paradise. There he meets a transsexual stripper (Danny Edwards) who is bothered by accurate, but extremely violent visions of future events. The increasingly violent visions start including the architect, who doesn't believe in the prophesy. One who does however is a psychiatrist who is seeing both the stripper and the architect and is sleeping with the ex-wife. He uses the prophecies for his own financial gain. Finally the scenes from the vision move into reality amidst many plot turns.

beachie you can get it on Amazon. I think the kid couldn't do the accent, it was written and filmed in NZ, so most of the cast have a NZ accent, not Aussie.

I liked this movie, wished it was for sale in America. The only thing I find odd about it, is that the child speaks w/a heavy Aussie(or NZ)accent, & neither of his parents do.
