I look forward to the day when religious nutjobs have no place in politics. Regardless of your political inclinations, the addition of dogma can do nothing but complicate and/or obscure the issues. I think that 'pastors', 'preachers', and 'reverends' should stick to what they do best... preying on people for their money by scaring them, and leave real issues to people who actually think about the issues.
