My leftist 12th grade English teacher made us write a paper on global warming, asking if we believed in the doomsday scenario and just a week after the hacked emails.

I'll read you her prompt: "Is our future Earth going to be a desolate hellscape? Will the L.A. beach shore begin at the freeway? Will climate change, caused by global warming, destroy modern civilization? Many of the worlds greatest scientists think, the answer is yes! (No)"

She put the (no) at the end to remain neutral.

But I like the idea of letting kids and parents know the damage they might be doing to the planet by feeling they need the happy meal at McDonalds that has the plastic toy in it. They really don't care about the toy that much and next month it ends up in a landfill. That's always seemed like such a waste to me to pollute in that way just to eat lunch. How many McDonald happy meals have been sold? How many plastic toys in landfills? Pathetic

And yes, the temperature is rising, its not in one area, its in general. Plus, weather is going to be really unpredictable, so it could be freezing one day, and warm the next or something.
