Many spanish died in that battle and their skeletons and swords are in the bottom of the sea near Ireland.

I am spanish and i pray God for their souls. They were brave men fighting to another brave men who were defending their land, the English.

Neither gave the English victory.The weather at different stages of the battle favoured either side. And all men, English, and Spanish fought bravely and gallantly for there country, there monarch and there faith.

The English ships were faster, more maneuverable, and had around 3 times the weight in armament of their Spanish equivalent.
