This information about children's schooling was mostly applicable to the wealthier families, right? I can't imagine a farmer having been able to afford a tutor 6 days a week for all of those lessons! (And anyway, we apprentices never got lessons at Claude Moore farm, just work :P)

I wish I had been in the room. How lucky you were to be able to hear this. I feel sorry for anyone who doesn't understand how cool this is. Some people have taste for only crappy things like poor old FireEmblemGuy.

The piece that Michael Monaco plays starting at 1:25 is an very nice and authentic improvisation. Very remarkable!
