I think that although Tomi brought a better voice to Amorphis, he also brought with him a clearer musical direction, and that's mainly what I love about him. Credit goes to the guitarists too, of course, I think Tomi K. is one of the best rhythm guitarists in metal and between him and Esa they turned a pretty good band into a fabulous one.

Here is the same song performed with Pasi Koskinen on vocals at Tuska Open Air Metal Festival in 2003. The difference is clearly visible. Of course, by then Pasi had become increasingly bored with Amorphis and left the band during the following year...

@ipeniemela Big difference, I like that clean sound, but the growls back then wasn't really my style, but I would still buy the albums tough. But after all I like Joutsen more then the old vocalists. They are great, but not my style.
